KeepTree, LLC (http://www.KeepTree.com), the creator of the new video messaging technology that allows users to record videos and deliver them at a future date and time, announced today that this holiday season KeepTree will be offering Sony VAIO users the opportunity to use KeepTree.com’s premium service for freefor a full year..
KeepTree.com was launched in December 2011 to provide users with a way to communicate via an Internet-based video messaging system. Using a webcam or iPhone, families can send videos to each other worldwide, even when they have limited access to means of communication. The videos are exchanged via a simple inbox/outbox system and therefore do not require a simultaneous Internet connection. This system is ideal for family and friends separated by distance, time zones, or both. Messages can be designated to be delivered immediately, or at a specific time in the future by using the proprietary FutureSendTM function. KeepTree also operates TroopTree.com, a free communication portal specifically for members of the military and their families.
SonyVAIO users will also be given the opportunity to record “Thank You” videos to the men and women serving overseas in our armed forces. Many celebrities and professional athletes have already utilized TroopTree.com to express their support and appreciation to our Troops overseas – including Nick Cannon (America’s Got Talent), Ryan Phillippe (Flags of Our Fathers; Cruel Intentions), Fran Drescher (The Nanny), Jesse Bradford (Guys With Kids), Ahmad Bradshaw (New York Giants running back), and many more.
"KeepTree.com is changing the way we communicate.” says Jon Loew, founder and CEO. "Life’s most memorable and precious moments can’t fit in a store-bought greeting card. Instead, with three simple clicks, RECORD – SAVE – SHARE, the joy and inspiration of a personal life moment can be shared and kept forever in video format."
The KeepTree mobile app will be available in the Apple iTunes Store next week, and the Company plans to release an Android based mobile app during the first quarter of 2013.
KeepTree is a web-based video messaging system designed to allow users to record, store and share videos. The KeepTree service does not require a simultaneous internet connection, and allows users to determine when videos should be delivered to their recipients. KeepTree is the first service to allow future delivery of videos (patent pending), affording users the opportunity to share memories and advice with loved ones even after they are no longer alive.
KeepTree’s TroopTree.com service is available to active duty military personnel and their families for free. TroopTree.com also allows members of the public to record “thank you” videos for the troops.
