iLuv Earns International Acclaim for Excellence and Innovation in Product Design

For 60 years, the iF product design award has been an internationally recognized label for award-winning design and has become a symbol for outstanding achievements in design technology. Today, iF is represented worldwide, in places like Hannover and Munich (Germany), Taiwan, Korea, Poland, Turkey and Brazil. The jury, comprised of a group of international design experts, considered criteria such as design quality, finish, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental impact, and functionality to determine the recipients of this year’s awards.

•     MultiCharger-X (iAD910)-

MultiCharger-X combines the best of form and function. This 10-bay multi-charger for the iPad was built with a minimalistic exterior to better match the Apple devices it was designed to work with. MutiCharger-X was created with the end user in mind, namely schools, IT managers and even tech novices. It has rounded corners for safety, handles and attachable wheels for portability, and a locking door for security. It also features individual LED lights that indicate when each device has finished charging. MultiCharger-X can even be daisy-chained to two additional units to expand the number of devices that it can sync at once with a single MacBook. It allows users to sync data, menus and updates across multiple iPad devices simultaneously, making it an ideal tool to help you manage your high-tech investments.

•    Audio/Charging Cables (iCB19, iCB13, iCB27, iCB17, iCB55, iCB21, iCB360, iCB117, iCB110, iCB112)-
iLuv’s cables were designed to accommodate a range of uses in different environments. Each cable was built with a double-shielded structure to increase durability while functionally minimizing signal loss for high acoustic performance. The connectors themselves were uniquely designed with two different materials of varying hardness for durability and a compact form factor. The cable neck was also designed to be internal for a clean aesthetic. As a family these cables share a consistent design language.
As iF design award winners, the MultiCharger-X and the family of Audio/Charging Cables will be featured in top-class exhibitions worldwide where iLuv’s designs will be seen by an audience of over 9.4 million. iLuv will also be honored at an awards ceremony on February 22, 2013 at BMW World in Munich.
