There's a lot to admire about 44-year old Kenny Chesney, and his music is just one of them. This American Country music singer and songwriter is a legend in his own right, having recorded 15 albums so far, with 14 of them hitting the gold status almost as soon as they were released.

From year 2005 to 2008, Chesney was voted as the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year. He has also been recognized by the American Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards for his musical talent and songwriting genius.

Kenny Chesney was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, which accounts for his deep roots in country music. His love affair with music started many years ago but he forayed into the industry in 1989 with a self-released demo album. He recorded this himself and it sold 1,000 copies and earned him a slot as a regular performer at the famous Turf bar in Nashville.

In 1992, Chesney landed a songwriting contract with BMI Records in 1992. In April 1994, Capricorn Records produced his first album, In My Wildest Dreams. Chesney's next album All I Need To Know was released in 1995 with BNA Records. From this, two hit singles, "Fall in Love" and "All I Need to Know" landed at the Top Ten Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.

Chesney’s albums are consistently selling and his singles are topping the Billboard charts.
In June 2012, "Welcome to the Fishbowl" was released in June 2012. The carrier track “Feel Like A Rockstar” was a duet with Tim McGraw and debuted at no. 13 on the charts.

Chesney's relationship to actress Renee Zellweger placed him even closer to the spotlight. However, they were married for only four months and the marriage ended in annulment. Nevertheless, Chesney dusted himself off and moved on by concentrating on his music. He has recently announced the “No Shoes Nation” tour for the benefit of his fans across the US.

The No Shoes Nation Tour marks 20 years of touring for Chesney. It will hit countless cities and he will be performing in at least 17 stadiums with guests Eric Church, the Zac Brown band on some days, Kasey Musgraves and Eli Youngband.
