Kickball365 is bringing its unique style of kickball to The Big Easy!

Kickball365, which enables people to make friends and have fun through local kickball leagues and one of a kind tournament vacation experiences, is bringing its unique style of kickball to The Big Easy. The New Orleans Winter Kickball League, powered by Kickball365 and sponsored by Southern Sports Leagues, is set to launch on January 7th. Kickball365 leagues are the perfect way for young professionals to blow off a little steam during the workweek. The exercise through kicking an orange playground kickball around, coupled with a fun social scene after the games, is the ideal way for companies to create an environment for team building and a way to keep employees engaged.

The 2013 Winter League will be the inaugural Kickball365 league in the New Orleans area. Games will take place on Monday night from 6:30pm until 8:30pm and will take place at St. Patrick’s Park (440 S Street Patrick Street). After the game activities will take place weekly at the Bayou Beer Garden (326 North Jefferson Davis Parkway) with food and beverage specials for all players, bar games and a private space for league players and friends to mingle.

“Who is the best kickball team in New Orleans? That’s what we want to know,” said Kickball365 CEO/Founder Matt Kemph. “Kickball365 is always looking for corporate partners from all industries who are looking to make wellness more fun.”. Steve Lindsey, the League Director, and his team have picked a great location for the weekly games and an excellent post-game venue in the Bayou Beer Garden. Now we want to see that great New Orleans pride and spirit come to life on the kickball field. We couldn’t be happier to be launching our newest league here and we think everyone involved is going to have a lot of fun.”

Kickball365 Leagues are designed so that players can play the game they love and party with fun, new people throughout the season and beyond. Registration is open now and interested players or teams can go to http://leagues.kickball365.com/leagues/kickball/10511 to complete registration.

In addition to a full schedule of games during the season, players will also get access to pre-, mid- and end-of-season league parties, and access to Kickball365 Circuit Events in select cities throughout 2013, including the chance to qualify for the Circuit Cup Championship taking place in New Orleans in November for a chance to win $10,000..

“We have a strong, up-and-coming kickball scene here in New Orleans and the Kickball365 Leagues are a good opportunity for new teams to form and existing teams to stay sharp,” said Steve Lindsey, New Orleans League Director. “We actually had a New Orleans team make a great run in the 2012 national championship, and had a ton of fun doing it. I love kickball, and I really want to see it take off here in New Orleans, especially for our corporate teams. It’s a great ‘winter’ sport here in New Orleans - we hope everyone will come out and give it a try.”

Registration for the New Orleans Winter League 2013 is currently open. Interested players should visit http://leagues.kickball365.com/leagues/kickball/10511 for more information and to sign up now.
