The Nursing Home Complaint Center is aggressively expanding their national initiative involving identifying nursing home patients, who now have a diagnosis of sepsis, septic shock, or family members who have a cause of death of sepsis, or septic shock for a loved one. The Nursing Home Complaint Center says, "We believe in most instances, nursing home staffing levels are so low it is impossible to properly to care for their patients. As a result of this we believe many senior citizen nursing home residents are not getting proper treatment, or care with a frequent result being premature death, or the nursing home resident is now in a hospital ER, or a ICU, because of sepsis, or septic shock." The Nursing Home Complaint Center fears many nursing home patients are never properly cleaned, and as a direct consequence they develop horrible bed sores, that evolve into an infection called sepsis, or they go into septic shock, and they die. These deaths should have never happened. For more information about sepsis, or septic shock, and nursing home patients please call the Nursing Home Complaint Center at 866-714-6466. http://NursingHomeComplaintCenter.Com

The group is urging states to get much more aggressive in monitoring their nursing homes, and is encouraging states to begin unannounced inspections-especially at night when nursing home staffing levels are frequently woefully insufficient. The Nursing Home Complaint Center is encouraging the adult children of any nursing home patient, who has been rushed to a hospital ER to ask the attending physician at the hospital ER if sepsis, of septic shock is indicated. If the answer from the physician is yes-please call the Nursing Home Complaint Center immediately at 866-714-6466. http://NursingHomeComplaintCenter.Com
