The Tale of the Christmas Hero, a holiday book the whole family can enjoy.
Hickman, Neb. (PRWEB) December 11, 2012
In Carolyn Mitchell’s enchanting new book, “The Tale of the Christmas Hero” (published by AuthorHouse), illustrated by Brenda Timms, Santa Claus and his reindeer learn a valuable lesson from a miniature marvel with monumental compassion.
The story begins in a snowy countryside just before the border of Santa’s last delivery town on Christmas Eve. A little field mouse sets out to enjoy his nightly stroll, only to become the target of the reindeer's games. The entire sleigh team suddenly forgets their important final stop and engages the rodent in a game of chase, pulling an unwilling Santa along for the ride. But their size proves no match for the tiny mouse’s enormous wit. He devises a clever plan to escape the merriment.
Mitchell’s delightful, easy-to-read story is written in clever rhyme that beckons children and fun-loving adults alike to imagine their own town as the final destination almost missed by Santa and his hapless crew. The vivid illustrations add just the right touch to “The Tale of the Christmas Hero,” a holiday book the whole family can enjoy.
