YogaVibes Takes Part In Off The Mat Into New Jersey

It is heart warming to see so many wonderful people come together, break down barriers and work together to do their part in helping to raise valuable funds for those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Join YogaVibes, Exhale Mind Body Spa, and Off The Mat Into The World as they come together through the mindfulness of yoga to support New Jersey communities impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

Off the Mat, Into New Jersey (OTMNJ) will take place December 22, 2012 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Participants of the event will experience a 3-hour yoga class led by New Jersey natives Seane Corn of Off the Mat, Fred DeVito and Elisabeth Halfpapp of Exhale, and Beryl Bender Birch of The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute.

Guests to the event are asked to bring a minimum donation of $25. Guests are also encouraged to bring a new toy or gift card, which will be distributed to NJ families in need. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and Global Green USA.

Debby Kaminsky, an organizer of the December 22nd Sandy Hurricane Relief Benefit believes, "It is heart warming to see so many wonderful people come together, break down barriers and work together to do their part in helping to raise valuable funds for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. There are many stellar teachers giving the world the opportunity to experience their teachings while making a valuable contribution to Hurricane Sandy Relief. It is a true testament to the importance of human kindness and care."

Stellar teachers include Fred DeVito and Elisabeth Halfpapp, Core Fusion Co-Founders and YogaVibes teachers. Fred and Elisabeth, originally from New Jersey, spent many years at the Jersey Shore at Seaside Heights and Beach Haven growing up. Elisabeth comments, “We are here to help NJ build back! NJ is close to our hearts, even though we now live in NYC...”

Those also inspired to help build back NJ, but can’t make the December 22nd event, are invited to take part in this healing practice from anywhere in the world.

OTMNJ will be broadcast live through Studio Live TV. Anyone can access the live stream class with a minimum donation.

What’s more, leading up to the event, several yoga teachers are coming together, along with YogaVibes, to provide online yoga videos that will be available for streaming to anyone who wants to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Proceeds from these special online yoga classes will go directly to Hurricane Sandy relief, and students will have the option to make additional donations to one of three charities, including Robin Hood, Off the Mat, Into the World/Sandy, or The Mayor's Fund.

Soon, a page will be featured on YogaVibes’ website dedicated to Hurricane Sandy relief. Users will be able to donate to these funds and stream online yoga classes offered by Shiva Rea, Elisabeth Halfpapp, Fred DeVito, and Cristi Christensen. Look for yoga videos from these exceptional teachers to benefit OTMNJ, available soon on YogaVibes.

To register for the upcoming December 22nd event, visit Exhale Mind Body Spa. Proceed to book a class, select a date, and register for the Off the Mat, Into New Jersey class with Seane Corn.
