The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama recognized AFS as a Finalist for the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, Mid-Size Category for its ethical practices in dealing with customers, vendors and employees. Over 265 companies and non-profit organizations were nominated for the annual award.
AFS was awarded Finalist designation for consistently practicing ethical standards in customer relations. AFS has initiated a customer relationship program to ensure that every customer develops a trusting relationship with AFS and completely understands the work to be performed on their property. The program ensures that every AFS technician and team member arrives in AFS-logo uniform and an official AFS vehicle. “From the moment an AFS technician rings your doorbell, to inspection of your property, to recommendations for repair, we want every customer to know that they are dealing with the most professional company in the industry,” noted AFS managers.
In addition, all AFS technicians follow a specific customer service program to ensure that they explain their diagnosis, recommendations and repair plan to each and every homeowner. “Foundation repair and waterproofing is tough work. But, our employees take pride in delivering service that makes our customers say, ‘WOW.’ We are proud and humbled to have been recognized by the Better Business Bureau.”
In order to qualify for the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, a company must submit an application detailing its practices for building ethical relationships with employees, customers and vendors. Applications are evaluated by a panel comprised of local industry and academic leaders. AFS is a family-owned and operated company with over 40 employees. AFS serves the entire state of Alabama as well as southern Tennessee and Columbus, Georgia.
