8 Ball are preparing for the release of the new Superman franchise, Man of Steel, next year with the release of two new t-shirt designs based on early drawings from the DC comic.

The officially licensed retro superman t-shirts are on yellow fabric with black comic book ink designs printed on the front. One of the designs features a Man of Steel art style logo while another features Clark Kent transforming into Superman proclaiming ‘I’m not always this nerdy’.

The Superman reboot is set to hit cinemas in June next year and is being directed by Zack Snyder who is yet to give much away except for revealing that Superman will not be wearing his famous red pants in the new franchise. Henry Cavill will be playing the lead role, while Amy Adams will play his love interest Lois Lane.

The film is thought to set the stage for the upcoming superhero ensemble, Justice League, which will feature Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and is anticipated for release in 2015.

The new designs add to 8 Ball’s already large collection of retro inspired Superman t shirts that are available for both men and women in a range of colours and sizes, as well as Superman accessories such as belts, socks and bags.

8 Ball is a leading online retailer of unique t-shirts, delivering thousands of items to UK customers in a huge range of different sizes and designs. From funny slogans to classic rock logos, Banksy Tshirts and quirky shirts inspired by pop culture, the tees on offer from the company appeal to all generations and can be printed to order.
