Sound Seal WoodTrends Panels Help Quiet North Carolina State University Hunt Library

Sound Seal, a leading manufacturer of wood veneered ceiling and wall products announced today that North Carolina State University (NCSU) is using WoodTrends Wood Ceiling Panels in the new James B. Hunt Library.

The NCSU Libraries has launched a $10,000,000 project to ensure that the new James B. Hunt Jr. Library can become the best learning and collaborative space in the country. The Library will serve as the heart and soul of NC State's Centennial Campus, which was named in 2007 as the top research park in the nation.

WoodTrends products were used to quiet the library’s 2nd and 3rd floor corridors, galleries and entry ways using WoodTrends Topline 13/3 wall planks in plain sliced maple & rift cut white oak veneers.

The Library’s 5th floor reading room used WoodTrends Customized Topline 13/3-PS with WoodTrends Select concealed grid installation system and the Topline 13/3 Wall Plank system - all in plain sliced maple veneer.
