Ealing, London (PRWEB UK) 12 December 2012
The prestigious annual National award was held on 6th of December at the Lancaster London Hotel. The event was attended by industry leaders in the property and the legal sector. Conveyancing solicitors across the country were judged using a rigorous process that scored all aspects of the business. It included mystery shopping exercises, an interview with the managing director and a round table debate by the judging panel. The Chairman of Judges concluded “the winners can be very proud in the knowledge that they have beaten some seriously good competitors.”
Rezaul Haque, Director said, “We are delighted to win this important award especially being such a young firm. The London property market suffered a massive blow in 2008 but we soldiered on against the odds by focusing on what our clients and the property market need. We take a long-term view to our relationships and are continually working with estate agents and mortgage brokers to perfect our service. To be described in the judge’s report as “magnificent” is an achievement we treasure highly”.
Two particular characteristics of award winners this year were highlighted: a clear focus on customer service, and great attention to training, development and welfare of staff members.
Judges Report, The Sunday Times and The Times Best Conveyancer of the Year Award 6 December 2012:
“It is fair to say that all at Smart Legal are fervent supporters of communication and collaboration. Staff are experienced at every level and there is a culture of development in this business with training in both legislative as well as soft skills, including conflict management. Use of IT and systems is exemplary … and the CRM [case management] program is outstanding both in terms of alerting staff to required actions but also for communicating with the client and agents. Alongside this, the directors are also keen to raise their eco-friendly standards and are trialing a paperless conveyancing system ... Magnificent.”
Commenting on the future of Smart Legal, Rezaul Haque, Director of Smart Legal says “We shall continue to provide the best possible service to our clients. We have been helping people buy and sell houses for several years and we will endeavour to learn from every case to remain the best of the best.
