Atlanta, GA. (PRWEB) December 11, 2012
TrueLanguage, a leading provider of professional localization and translation services, today announced that it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule contract for 738 II Language Services under Special Item Number (SIN) 382-1, Translation Services and 382-2, Interpretation Services, by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), a federal agency that helps government agencies locate and procure goods and services.
The premier acquisition vehicle for the U.S. government, the GSA Schedules program establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial firms to facilitate the acquisition of millions of commercial products and services by government customers. In addition, certified government agencies benefit from negotiated rate schedules and favorable pricing for volume purchases. The GSA Schedules program accounts for approximately $50 billion a year in spending or 10 percent of overall federal procurement spending.
“The GSA Schedules program provides a significant opportunity for TrueLanguage to foster and grow relationships with government customers, a relatively new market segment for our business,” said Uli Dendy, CEO for TrueLanguage. “Being placed on the GSA Schedule will make it easier for government agencies to acquire our comprehensive business translation and interpretation services at a pre-established fair market rate and we are excited about this new business opportunity.”
To be successful under the GSA Schedules program, vendors must be prepared to take specific steps to be productive in a highly competitive marketplace. To help ensure its success, TrueLanguage offers several advantages to include:
