Fluid Inc., the digital shopping innovator, has made two key hires with the addition of Vanessa Rumbold to the role of executive vice president client services and business development, managing director Fluid - New York, and Angela Flynn, vice president customer success, in the San Francisco headquarters.

Vanessa Rumbold most recently served as senior vice president client partner and general manager - New York, at the interactive agency, Blast Radius (WPP). Under Vanessa’s leadership, Blast Radius’s NY team grew from ten to over 50 employees, with a corresponding increase in agency revenues. In addition to a deep digital background, Vanessa has extensive experience in direct marketing, advertising and media, across diverse industries. As an effective and strategic leader, she has successfully led the transition of agencies from traditional/direct marketing to digital, developed new digital service offerings for clients (including content, social media and mobile), and created significant business growth. In addition to her role as managing director of Fluid New York, Vanessa will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and building account relationships and leading business development for agency services business across North America.

Fluid’s new vice president of customer success, Angela Flynn, most recently served as product management director, global ecommerce at Walmart.com. Angie led Walmart.com teams to launch its first ecommerce business in China and delivered a technology roadmap for Walmart.com’s UK multi-channel retail business, among several key achievements. She has led delivery teams in various ecommerce software companies and has launched over two dozen ecommerce sites globally. In her new role as vice president of customer success, Angie will leverage over 20 years of global software product and client delivery management to lead implementation management and engineering, and customer support for Fluid’s on-demand visual merchandising suite. Angie will be responsible for ensuring a productive and positive experience across all customer phases of Fluid product implementations and use.
