Two biopics about legendary filmmaker, Alfred Hitchcock, are due for release soon on both the silver and small screen. Cinema release Hitchcock stars Antony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson and documents the making of Psycho while BBC drama The Girl focuses on Hitchcock’s growing obsession with Tippi Hedren during the making of The Birds.

2012 has seen a number of retrospectives of Alfred Hitchcock’s work as fans marked the 90th anniversary of his first film this year.

Since Psycho’s release in 1960, it has been respected as one of the best thrillers of all time and paved the way to inspire a host of horror and slasher movies that followed.

8 Ball’s Psycho inspired design features the classic quote ‘A boy’s best friend is his mother’ said by character Norman Bates in the film, as well as an image of a kitchen knife similar to the one used by him in the film to kill his victims.

Hauntingly, the character also keeps a corpse of his own mother in his house and dresses up as her when he murders people. Particularly in that famous shower scene.

The t shirt is perfect for fans of classic horror films and admirers of Hitchcock’s work. The t shirt is an 8 Ball original design and comes in grey, green and white.
