Company Names John Cullen North American President

Mood Media recently announced that John Cullen has transitioned to the role of president of Mood Media’s North American operations. Cullen replaces Steve Richards who served in this role for two years.

“Mood Media’s recent executive changes were made to further enhance operations and strengthen the company’s core business,” said Lorne Abony, CEO and chairman, Mood Media. “John Cullen is an outstanding leader and will direct Mood Media’s business in North America with exceptional rigor and a tireless commitment to business innovation and client service.”

Abony continued, “As we welcome John to this new role, I want to personally thank Steve for his strong leadership and achievements. Steve provided two years of consistent sales and profitability growth, with enhanced strategic focus during a time of acquisition, integration and transition. Steve has elected to leave the business to pursue new interests, though he will continue to remain a close ally of the Mood organization.”

As a result of Mood Media’s recent integration and consolidation efforts, the organization has undergone a process to eliminate redundancies and streamline its overall business operations. This effort will enable the company to move forward and strengthen its core business. The recent executive changes have no effect on current clients, as Mood Media is committed to the highest levels of quality and service. Furthermore, Mood Media has no current plans to relocate its operations from the Charlotte area.

“I am deeply committed to enhancing Mood’s North American operations and sustaining our commitment to the Charlotte community,” said John Cullen, president, Mood Media North America. “I intend to direct Mood Media on its continued path as a profitable, growing company with limitless potential that delivers on its promise of creating innovative experiences for its clients with purpose and intent.”

Cullen joined Mood Media in March 2012 as president of Mood Media International. Prior to that, he served as CEO of DMX Holdings, which was acquired by Mood Media in 2012 to expand the company’s experiential design offerings.
