National Accreditor ACICS has named seven Globe University Campuses to its “Honor Roll” Institutions for 2012. The Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) recognizes institutions that have demonstrated an excellent understanding of the accreditation process. The honored campuses this year are:

  •     Eau Claire, Wis.
  •     LaCrosse, Wis.
  •     Madison, Wis. (East)
  •     Madison, Wis. (West)
  •     Minneapolis, Minn.
  •     Sioux Falls, S.D.
  •     Woodbury, Minn.

Colleges and schools like Globe University are accredited by ACICS and required to meet and maintain high standards of faculty qualifications, student retention and student placement. Globe University has a dedicated staff to ensure that the entire faculty and staff meet each of these standards.

Each year ACICS recognizes those institutions that have demonstrated an exemplary understanding of the accreditation process and standards. ACICS honored each of the qualifying campuses at the organization’s annual meeting in November. The nonprofit currently accredits more than 900 institutions throughout the U.S.

“We’re very pleased that ACICS has selected seven of our campuses for this honor,” said Jeff Myhre, chief communications officer for Globe University. “We strive to meet and exceed the stringent guidelines put into place by ACICS to ensure our students receive an education that passes the scrutiny of the U.S. Department of Education.”
