It is Huhtanen’s hope that readers take away an appreciation for the necessity of careful and objective evaluation of current events.

In his new book, “Reflections On Anything and Everything: Visions of the past and present” (published by Trafford Publishing), Charles Huhtanen pens a series of essays on just what the titles suggests: anything.

“Reflections On Anything and Everything” is a series of 41 essays on various aspects of modern society including some of Huhtanen’s own experiences. Several of his writings deal with the political climate today, some on the importance of teachers in young people’s lives, other are thoughts on Einstein, calculus, time, religion and the future of mankind. One essay showed a clear negative correlation between his blood pressure and monthly temperatures over 12 years.

It is Huhtanen’s hope that readers take away an appreciation for the necessity of careful and objective evaluation of current events.

Huhtanen’s thoughts on education from the segment entitled: “On Teachers”:

“The whole point of course is that none of this would have been possible without the dedicated services of those teachers. Now faced with reductions in many governmental services; paraphrasing a current theme, I hope the politicians understand the importance of ‘no teacher left behind’.”
