“Many are the
Songs that I
Would sing…
If only my voice were
As resonant as
That of the wind…
I would whisper
One word into
Everyone’s ear…
Love is the only word
Which touches everyone
Like the wind…”

“Every generation has experienced love,” writes poet H. Lloyd Weston, “and every generation has come to grips with it.” With the publication of his new collectionThe Many Silences of Love: Contemporary Love Poems” (published by Trafford Publishing), Weston offers his own creations to aid this digital generation in that coming to grips.

With poetry that explores the full gamut of loving emotions – from the sharp bite of finding true love to the more universal abstract – “The Many Silences of Love” offers readers a complete experience.

An excerpt from “The Many Silences of Love,” the poem “Voice of the Wind”:

“Many are the
Songs that I
Would sing…
If only my voice were
As resonant as
That of the wind…
I would whisper
One word into
Everyone’s ear…
Love is the only word
Which touches everyone
Like the wind…”

Weston is certain his book will resonate with readers, because he has already received favorable feedback. “Readers find the poems very touching, because they deal with a reality they themselves have experienced – heartbreaks or triumphs or more.”
