In her 2012 book for young readers “Amberella: An Action Hero Adventure” (published by AuthorHouse), author Carole Wells delivers an inspirational message wrapped up in a colorful, entertaining and educational package.
Amberella, a young princes, takes on the role of heroine in this story, traveling through exotic lands, gathering wisdom and learning from both royalty and creatures on her quest to find her mother. Although the responsibility of finding her mother is great, Amberella perseveres, demonstrating for young readers that believing in themselves and daring to live their dreams makes any goal, no matter how high, attainable.
Wells uses the book to teach young readers, especially young girls, how to protect themselves and handle adversity. “Young women are being shot, stoned, discriminated against and not being educated in many countries,” she says. “‘Amberella’ will inspire them and give them ways to keep trying to improve their selves.
