Our seminar sessions have been deliberately chosen to cover the burning questions for today’s third sector leaders
London (PRWEB UK) 12 December 2012
The seminar programme for CHASE 2013 , the leading charity and associations event, has been announced today with a strong focus on addressing the challenges that keep third sector executives awake at night.
Organised by the leaders in conference and event management Conference House, CHASE has become renowned amongst senior not for profit delegates for its no nonsense approach to business networking and sector learning. A popular feature of the show has always been its free seminar programme that spans the key third sector disciplines and gives delegates the chance to learn from the experiences of sector experts and practitioners.
This year the seminar programme features a hard hitting focus on how to anticipate and manage high risk scenarios – a vital skill for CEOs involved in this high profile, strictly regulated sector.
Sessions will include a detailed look at how to deal with employee theft and fraud (Julie Mooney, Markel Insurance), an analysis of the role of executives and trustees during a crisis (Robin Swinbank, The Counsel House), a guide to planning and insuring against litigation (DE Ford), and an insider’s practical tips on running a small charity without losing your sanity (David Marfleet, Giving the Best).
These titles are complemented by extensive and varied views from key speakers on the latest trends and innovations across the disciplines of technology, fundraising, leadership, finance and legal practice.
The show’s Lead Sponsor ASI Europe will host three seminars focused on web, social media and mobile marketing as well as CRM and CMS systems. Advanced Solutions International are the largest privately owned global providers of web based software for not for profit organisations – including iMIS , the most widely used association software in the world.
Exhibition Director Michael Webb believes that the 2013 seminar programme will be invaluable for executives dealing with complex charity management issues. “Our seminar sessions have been deliberately chosen to cover the burning questions for today’s third sector leaders” he explained today. “As we have seen in the wider press crises can and do happen and they can cause enormous fallout. The 2013 seminar schedule is designed to inform and stimulate as it always does – but it will also challenge delegates to leave their comfort zone and examine how well prepared they really are for unexpected risks. In doing so CHASE will provide support and inspiration for executives who recognise that effective planning is the best way to mitigate against disaster and protect your organisation.”
CHASE 2013 takes place on the 12th and 13th February 2013 at the Business Design Centre, Islington.
