Phil Jones is a fantastic player and we have been working hard to provide the most fantastic resource that is both enjoyable to use and useful.

Phil Jones is a promising and versatile defender – and has featured in all kind of positions for Manchester United. Mainly a centre back, Phil has been thrown in at right back, centre midfield, and also centre back.

His physicality and intelligence have allowed him to shine in all three positions – as he continutes to prove why he is one of the highest-rated prospects to emerge from English football for many years.

Phil came through the academy at Blackburn Rovers and made his debut at the age of 17. Manchester United were quick to swoop in for his services – and he has since gone on to represent England through his tenure at Old Trafford.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say: “Phil Jones is a fantastic player and we have been working hard to provide the most fantastic resource that is both enjoyable to use and useful. Working with the PFA provides unique biographical information and insights that can be found nowhere else online. We are proud of our partnership with the Professional Footballers Association and the unrivalled access this provides us to the players.”
