The first “Blow Out Bar” for acne has arrived in New York City

Clear Clinic NYC

The goal of
Clear Clinic is to truly give complete care to all patients with acne, and make optimal care easier to obtain. We don’t think people should be fighting acne alone anymore.

Acne breakouts always seem to appear at the worst possible time—the week of a big event or right before a date. Though truthfully, there is no good time for a pimple. Thankfully, the days of waiting weeks to see a dermatologist to help you with your acne-prone skin are over. This week marks the opening of Clear Clinic, a brand new concept in acne care, located in the heart of New York City.

Under the supervision of leading acne specialist and dermatologist, Dr. Eric Schweiger, a new concept in acne care has arrived and is ready to make treatment more accessible to the over 50 million Americans with acne. The goal of Clear Clinic, Dr. Schweiger says, “is to truly give complete care to all patients with acne, and make optimal care easier to obtain.” Schweiger goes on to say, “We are open 7 days per week and take walk-in appointments, something that differentiates us. We don’t think people should be fighting acne alone anymore.”

Clear Clinic accepts most medical insurances and offers a wide array of treatments, ranging from traditional prescription medications to advanced laser therapy. Clear Clinic also has a program called the “Clear Club,” which is essentially a “gym membership for acne patients.” The Clear Club, Schweiger explains, “is a monthly membership program that offers reduced rates on laser and light acne treatments for a low monthly fee.” This program allows patients who might not have been able to afford these treatments in the past, a chance to benefit from them.

The staff at Clear Clinic knows how to properly treat patients of every age and skin tone. “Treating acne in skin of color poses unique challenges. At Clear Clinic, we have expertise in both medical and cosmetic acne and acne scarring treatments to meet those challenges and ensure that our skin of color patients receive the highest quality care,” says Dr. Sejal Shah, a board certified dermatologist and Director of Skin of Color at Clear Clinic.

Clear Clinic boasts a retail area in the front, stocked with the best cutting edge at-home acne fighting devices and skin care. The entire environment at Clear Clinic is fresh, modern and clean, a compliment to the Flatiron neighborhood, which is quickly becoming a beauty destination.

Clear Clinic already has two locations in Manhattan, and is now planning their third office. The all-in-one acne treatment center concept seems to be taking off, and Clear Clinic aspires to have national reach in the near future.

It is important that adults and teens with acne seek professional treatment to reduce the physical and psychological impact and prevent future scarring.
