With the 2012 movie season winding down, DigiTitles.com looks at the ‘Top 10 Villains’ from a year when villains often outshone their counterparts with powerful on-screen performances.

In 2012 there were plenty of Super Hero movies such as Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers that produced some classic villains. But comic book movies weren’t the only place where villains played leading roles. Javier Bardem played a shrewd, dark and entertaining villain named Raoul Silva in the latest James Bond movie Skyfall, while Edward Norton’s character Eric Byer in The Bourne Legacy also made a case for best villain.
