The sixth and final coin in the Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion series will be available from Bullion UK in early 2013. BullionUK.com ships world-wide and offers a secure online purchasing system through its website: http://www.bullionuk.com/.

The coins, issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, have been produced as a three-year series and span 2011, 2012 and 2013. Following normal practice, these strikes are never available to buy direct from the Mint which uses a global network of bullion distributors to buy and sell the coins at prices based on recent market activity.

Speaking on behalf of http://www.BullionUK.com, a company spokesman explained: “The primary function of bullion coins is always considered to be investment but this series has also proved to be extremely popular with collectors.” Each of the coins in the Canadian Wildlife series features a unique reverse design which showcases one of Canada’s native animals. “Setting aside the aesthetic appeal of the coins,” he continued, “the level of purity is also particularly attractive. Each of the coins is struck from one ounce of .9999 fine silver and the mintage of the program is limited to a maximum of 1,000,000 per design. This of course adds to the desirability of the coins, and collectors are obviously keen to purchase the complete series.”

The first two silver bullion coins in the series, issued during 2011, feature a Canadian Wolf and a Canadian Grizzly Bear. The 2012 coins feature a Canadian Cougar and a Canadian Moose. All four reverse sides were designed by Senior Royal Canadian Mint Engraver William Woodruff. Details of the first 2013 silver bullion coin were announced by the Mint in August 2012. The strike features a Canadian Pronghorn Antelope on the reverse, designed by Canadian artist and coin designer, Emily S. Damstra. Reverse inscriptions of each of the coins include CANADA, 9999, FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR together with the initials of the particular artist. The design for the sixth coin has yet to be announced by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The coins in the Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion series have each been struck to a diameter of 38mm. They are 3.29mm thick with a reeded edge and a legal tender face value of CAD $5. http://www.BullionUK.com/ will be carrying stocks of the new 2013 silver bullion coin as soon it becomes available. Demand is expected to be high and investors and collectors alike are advised to make their purchases early.
