Ski Santa Fe, located 16 miles from Santa Fe, NM, at the end of NM 475/Hyde Park Road, is opening the 2012/2013 ski season when the lifts start running beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012

Ski Santa Fe will open Midland, Easy Street and the Pine Flats Beginners Area on 23 inches of natural and man-made snow on Saturday, December 15th. The ski area received 16 inches of new snow from the last storm that came through the Santa Fe area the weekend of Dec. 8-9. The Super Chief Quad Chairlift, Easy Street Beginner Chairlift and Pine Flats Conveyor Lift will be open. The Chipmunk Corner Children’s Center will be open with lessons being taught in the Pine Flats Area. The opening of Ski Santa Fe is featured on the SantaFe.com event calendar.

All facilities will be open including the newly expanded and renovated La Casa Lodge to include La Casa Cafe, Ski Santa Fe Sports Shop, and the Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop. Additionally, the Snow Sports School, Chipmunk Corner Children’s Center, and Totemoff’s Bar & Grill will be open.

Lift ticket rates will be reduced for the limited opening as follows:
Adult All Day         $50            Adult All Day w/Peak Plus Card        $30
Teen All Day         $45            Teen All Day w/Peak Plus Card        $25
Child All Day         $40             Child All Day w/Peak Plus Card     $20
Senior All Day        $40             Senior All Day w/Peak Plus Card    $20
Active Duty Military All Day $40
AM or PM 1/2 Day    $40         Beginner Lift Only     $34
