We are thrilled to have Tony join RSIR as we embark on this next development cycle of for-sale communities. Dean Jones, President & CEO of RSIR
Seattle, Wa (PRWEB) December 13, 2012
Executives at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) announced today the appointment of Tony Dwyer as Director of Construction and Development of the Seattle-based real estate brokerage. As respective market leaders for both new condominium and town home developments throughout King County, their combined experience broadens corporate service areas and product segments, according to owners of the global real estate franchise.
“We’re thrilled to attract Tony as we embark on this next development cycle of for-sale communities,” said Dean Jones, President and CEO of RSIR. “We’re nearly sold out of our portfolio of in-city, new construction developments from the last cycle. And with Tony’s help, we’ll identify new real estate opportunities for developers and lenders throughout the area. We seek to represent an emerging pipeline of diverse projects and communities, including condominium conversions.”
Jones notes almost all new construction of recent years have been for rent while rising median home prices and historic low interest rates have bolstered demand for new, for-sale inventory throughout the Pacific Northwest. Meanwhile inventory is at the lowest levels in years, according to the NWMLS. By example, Jones says only 150 new and resale condominium units remain available for sale in downtown Seattle - just 10% of 1,500 units that were on the market in 2008.
With more than fifteen years’ experience in both residential and commercial real estate, Dwyer draws on an extensive sales management experience and prudent market insights while representing his developer clients. His accomplished track record includes dozens of successful projects representing hundreds of home sales across a myriad of product types and price points – many consulted from initial land acquisition through entitlements, construction and unit closings. Now combined with RSIR, Dwyer will also offer extensive market research, product development and creative marketing services.
“I have long viewed Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty as the gold standard in marketing and sales – I’m honored to join the team at this pivotal juncture in the housing cycle” said Dwyer. “We intend to play a large role in bringing some much needed inventory to market.”
