This week Compass Imaging is pleased to announce the addition of two new radiologists to their expert care team; Shane D. Dieckman, MD and Matthew Frederick Barchie, MD.
Dr. Dieckman graduated with his doctorate from Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. He has been board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Family Medicine, and comprehensive osteopathic medical licensing examination. He is also a part of numerous professional societies including the American Osteopathic Association, and has participated in a number of presentations and publications. Notably, he was also awarded the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship during his graduate studies.
Dr. Barchie studied at the United States Air Force Academy graduating with a bachelors degree in political science and went through navigator training as well as becoming an Air Force instructor fighter weapon-systems officer. He continued his studies at the University of New Mexico School of Mexico. Dr. Barchie has numerous certifications and associations with an Unrestricted Medical License in Mississippi and Florida, and is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
The Air Force has honored Dr. Barchie with many awards and honors. He was named fighter squadron top gun weapon-systems officer and was awarded the Evans Trust Scholarship. In addition to all his hardwork and achievements, Dr. Barchie had had experience working internationally with hospitals in Pakistan and Hondouras.
