Huntingdon Valley, PA (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
Luxury Life Icons has finalized a formal partnership with the MLB Players Alumni Association, MGM Grand Las Vegas and Walters Golf to develop and produce an invitation-only series of unique experiences with Baseball Hall of Fame sports icons to be hosted at MGM Grand in Las Vegas May 16-19, 2013. The goals of these events are to provide customized and personalized experiences that are both pleasing for the fans and the icons. Participating icon and Baseball Hall of Famer, Wade Boggs, shared that “other events rarely provide Hall of Famers the opportunity to relax with small groups of fans at a luxury resort.” He added that he “looks forward to sharing stories from the 1986 & 1996 World Series with guests.”
One of the unique components of the experience is that a significant portion of the weekend can be customized according to guest preferences. Each guest will be assigned a personal concierge to specifically cater to his or her needs.
As part of the experience, guests will have numerous opportunities to interact with icons in intimate settings. This includes private group dinners and roundtables with Hall of Fame sports icons, a Dream Sports Day Experience and a Dream Golf Experience.
Rollie Fingers, Baseball Hall of Famer, explained his experience working with many fantasy camps, golf tournaments and dinners but, “really looks forward to participating in this exclusive next level experience packed with personalized events for guests with different Icons all in one extended weekend.”
This four-day event with an unprecedented 1:8 guest to icon ratio provides the most personal interaction with sports icons than any other in the industry.
This allows each guest to have the experience of a personal interaction with the Baseball Hall of Famer. A sentiment shared by Baseball Hall of Famer, Bob Gibson, “I am excited to be participating in this unique event with my fellow Hall of Famers that will allow us to spend quality time getting to know and talk baseball with every guest.” The roster of confirmed Baseball Hall of Fame icons thus far includes Joe Morgan, Rollie Fingers, Robin Young, Steve Carlton, Wade Boggs and Bob Gibson.
The event will cater to elite sports fans, therefore the experience will be sensitive to the needs of this VIP fan base. As such, upon registration they will be assigned their personal concierge specialist to ensure their needs are fully met. They will also receive VIP ground transportation to events, access to a team of private sports medicine providers, luxury SWAG and generous resort credit from MGM Grand. Guests will also take home official, personalized uniforms and apparel and authenticated, highly valued collectibles personally signed by sports icons at the event.
Chris Torgusen, VP of Marketing, Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association, said, “We are excited to be part of this prestigious event with Luxury Life Icons to allow the elite sports fan the exclusive opportunity to interact with some of the greatest baseball players on a personal basis.”
