Innovative Business & Technology Executive, Board Director, and Angel Investor Joins HR Technology Startup Board, Brings CXO-Level Expertise

Gild, which brings meritocracy to HR through innovative recruiting technologies, today announced that Tim Stanley, SVP of Enterprise Strategy and Innovation at, has joined the Gild advisory board.

Tim Stanley’s appointment to Gild’s Advisory Board signals that the HR technology startup continues to attract Blue-Chip caliber expertise dedicated to transforming the Recruiting and Human Resources industry.

In addition to Tim’s current Enterprise Strategy and Innovation focus at Salesforce, he founded and is currently CXO of Tekexecs, a board and executive advisory service and consultancy, and Innovatects, a business innovation and technology incubator. Tim is also an adjunct Professor at the Merage School of Business at the University of California Irvine. Previously, Tim served as Chief Innovation Officer, CIO/CTO and the Senior Vice President of Innovation, Gaming and Technology for Caesars / Harrah’s Entertainment, and in various executive level business, technology, marketing, operations, R&D and consulting roles with Intel, Kimberly Clark, jetBlue, National, USWeb/CKS, Optima/KPMG, and the US Air Force.

A former Information Week’s “Chief of the Year” for his unique Innovation, Business and IT roles and achievements, Stanley has also been recognized as one of InfoWorld’s “Top 25 CTOs,” Interactive Week’s “Top 25 Unsung Heroes of the Internet,” the recipient of CIO’s “100 Innovators Award.” CIO Insight bestowed Stanley with a “Partners in Alignment” award for his successful linkage of business strategy and technology, and he was instrumental in securing Harrah’s “CIO 100” award; Computerworld’s “Best Places to Work in IT” for nine consecutive years; and the American Business Awards “Best MIS & IT Organization.”
