2013 Texas Labor Law Posters

The new Texas Workers Compensation information is already part of the all-in-one poster sold by US Poster Compliance.

Beginning in January, Texas and California will require several labor law documents be updated and replaced by employers. The new Texas Workers Compensation information is already part of the all-in-one poster sold by US Poster Compliance in Upstate New York. Both California documents (Fair Employment and FMLA / Pregnancy Disability Leave) will be available on their respective poster after January 11, 2013.

The announcements were recently made by labor law departments in each state where employers must post new documents reflecting these changes in 2013. Notable changes in California posting requirements reflect changes in the definition of pregnancy disability and employer's required accommodations for pregnant women. The Fair Employment Poster contains language that expands the definition of religious discrimination to include "religious dress" and "religious grooming" practices. In Texas, the Workers Compensation Poster addresses changes to the "Employer Notice of No Coverage or Termination of Coverage" form, among others.

"We always keep our posters as up-to-date as possible," said Brandon Eaton, owner of US Poster Compliance. "When states announce changes and updates, we make them available as soon as possible, and these updates in Texas and California are no different." Eaton went on to describe the company's '12-month Compliance Package' as a way for employers to receive updated documents without needing to track changes in posting regulations.
