To manage the database size of their new SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (BW) powered by SAP HANA, the utility will be using a nearline storage solution with analytics to manage database size and ensure optimal performance and control costs.
This is the first implementation of SAP NetWeaver BW archiving and analytics on SAP HANA in North America for Dolphin and PBS Software GmbH, a leading provider of SAP add-on software in the areas of data archiving, extraction and storage. The solution, PBS CBW NLS, has been certified for integration with SAP NetWeaver via SAP integration scenario NW-BW-NLS 7.3 on the SAP HANA platform. Dolphin is the implementation partner and reseller of PBS products in the Western Hemisphere.
