“Janis Joplin famously sung ‘Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz’ way back in 1970, and for many people the German carmaker is synonymous with class and elegant motoring. From what we’ve seen already it looks as if the new E-Class continues in this long tradition.
“The new design, complete with a sports car radiator and central star looks great, while all the other design tweaks bring the vehicle up to date. Safety updates such as Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Parking Assist are great new features too.
“Mercedes should also be congratulated for delivering the E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid, which has at 69mpg has an impressive A+ ranking for fuel efficiency. All in all it looks like a great new car that will undoubtedly sell well when it is launched next year.”
The new E-Class Mercedes Benz vehicles go on sale at different times throughout 2013. An entry-level E-200 is expected to cost close to £30,000. Those interested in upgrading to the new vehicle may want to consider affordable car loans.
