The International Cryptozoology Museum (ICM) is a one-of-a-kind tourism experience for those visiting the Portland, ME area. Now fans of cryptozoology from all over the world can get a glimpse of Bigfoot-type creatures right on their smartphones thanks to a new app released at appcatch.com
ICM used the free app builder at appsbar to develop this reference app to showcase its exhibits, reach out to volunteers, and explain its mission.
Cryptozoology involves the study of, and search for, animals whose existence has yet to be proven. Bigfoot, Yeti, and Nessie of Loch Ness fame all fit under the category of cryptozoology. The pseudoscience also investigates evidence of animals, such as dinosaurs, that are considered extinct.
The app is optimized for both iOS and Android smartphone use and has already been downloaded nearly 500 times.
