It is time for us, internet marketers, to step in front of the line and see what’s really going on online at this moment. This is the only thing that is going to help us create a friendly environment for our clients and help our businesses grow.

"As 2012 draws to a close, we start to look towards the coming year as online marketers to see where the trends are going’, says Ms Lewis in her latest SEO and Traffic news update video. Many entrepreneurs don’t know what 2013 is going to bring them in terms of online marketing, so Fiona Lewis recommends that businesses should do exactly the opposite of just ‘waiting to see what happens."
"It is time for us, internet marketers, to step in front of the line and see what’s really going on online at this moment. This is the only thing that is going to help us create a friendly environment for our clients and help our businesses grow," says Ms Lewis.
She begins this week’s video release with an analysis of today’s SEO world. Ms Lewis makes a comparison between the old versus the new ways SEO worked/works now, concluding that good search results no longer depend on the SEOers, but on the social aspect of the internet. Ms Lewis knows and advises others that ‘it is important to understand that the trend of website users and internet users is that they don’t generally come to a business just from one form of traffic’.
Furthermore, Super Savvy Business CEO looks at the way video marketing is increasing as importance in the eyes of search engines such as Google. As a result, she advises entrepreneurs to start focusing more on creating high quality videos and posting them on the main social media platforms which promote video marketing techniques. One very popular option is YouTube.
Speaking of which, with the latest update from YouTube, business owners now have the possibility to link their website to their videos, thus increasing their number of followers and being able to promote their products without having to worry about YouTube’s Terms of Service. The new tool YouTube put at people’s disposal is called Associated Website Link Annotations. ‘What this means’, Ms Lewis says, ‘is that you can now put a link within your YouTube video that goes directly to your website. Now, you can imagine the implications of this and how it might help to bring traffic from YouTube and other sites where you embed the YouTube video and bring visitors directly into your website.’
For entrepreneurs who are just starting to use video marketing as a promotional tool, Ms Lewis shares some tips and tricks on how to create quality videos on a tight budget. She offers six tips to obtain interactive and attractive videos without having to spend too much money:
1. Video creation must turn into a habit
2. Videos are not expensive to make when using the right tools
3. Video formats are compulsory
4. Practice creates experience and improves the video quality
5. Asking for help is essential
6. The anchor’s personality should be let loose - viewers appreciate this
Going on with the video release, Ms Lewis notices the new changes that took place within Pinterest. ‘A few weeks back Pinterest launched their business pages and as marketers we are all very excited that we can do this’, says Ms Lewis. She continues announcing the new release of a Super Savvy E-book that people can download for free by subscribing to the Super Savvy Business newsletter.
