The Smith I/O Recon goggle has been difficult to find this holiday season... ADS Sports Eyewear still has a few left.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) December 17, 2012
ADS Sports Eyewear is expanding their prescription ski goggles inventory to include a new, high-tech ski goggle, the Smith I/O Recon. This ski goggle has the same easily interchangeable lenses as the other I/O Ski Goggles, as well as Recon Instruments’ Mod Live technology. This technology includes a small screen in the bottom right corner of the frame that shows a variety of features including; speed, jump analytics, vertical distance, altitude, navigation, buddy tracking, music and Smart Phone connectivity.
The Smith I/O Recon Ski Goggle comes with a wrist mounted remote control to manage the applications of the I/O Recon. This allows the user to adjust the volume, switch songs and browse through the Recon tools. There is a standard power button on the side of the goggle, which makes it effortless to turn the Recon on and off. The goggle is battery operated and can be charged by plugging it into any USB plug. When fully charged, the battery works from 5-6 hours.
This Recon I/O Ski Goggle allows the user to identify and find friends on the mountain. By downloading the Engage application from any Smart Phone App. Market, skiers can be identified by any of their friends wearing this hi-tech ski goggle. Bluetooth allows the user to see text messages on a small screen inside the goggle. The display also provides a wealth of GPS-enabled information.
ADS Sports Eyewear uses Free-form Digital prescription lenses in most of their wrapped prescription sports eyewear. Prescription ski goggles can utilize this same digital technology that recalculates the curve at every point on the back of the lens. This provides the best clarity in every part of the lens, so the fishbowl effect traditionally associated with prescription lenses on wrapped frames is no longer an issue for skiers.
The Smith I/O Recon goggle has been difficult to find this holiday season. This is the first year that Smith has offered the goggle, and the demand for this perfect hi-tech Christmas present has been greatly underestimated. ADS Sports Eyewear still has a few left.
