Rye Brook, NY (PRWEB) December 14, 2012
Doral Arrowwood Conference Center, the premier meeting destination in the New York metro area, recently hosted its second live broadcast of Bloomberg Surveillance. Anchored by Tom Keene, host of Bloomberg Surveillance, and Joe Brusuelas, Senior Economist, the show featured an interview with renowned investment advisor and financial analyst Mario Joseph Gabelli.
“Doral Arrowwood is pleased to have hosted Bloomberg Surveillance in our state-of-the-art conference center for the second consecutive year,” said Steve Mabus, General Manager of Doral Arrowwood. “As a conference destination for business executives across the NY Metro Region and beyond, we are thrilled to serve as the stage for such prestigious business conversations.”
An investment advisor and financial analyst, Gabelli serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rye-based GAMCO Investors, Inc., a NYSE-listed company and recognized provider of investment advice to alternative investments, mutual funds, institutional and high net worth investors. During the interview, Gabelli shared insights on the fiscal cliff and markets in 2013 with an exclusive audience of Bloomberg insiders and special guests.
During the interview, Keene, Brusuelas and Gabelli touched on the housing market, the climate for mergers and acquisitions, buyer confidence in the markets, job creation in the current economy, the country’s economic infrastructure, and corporate tax structure in the U.S. and abroad, among other topics. During the broadcast, attendees were also given the opportunity to pose questions to Gabelli. Topics ranged from predictions for the future of major U.S. companies who have faced financial hardship/ceased operations and forecasting inquiries on which industries posed the largest recovery potential for the U.S. economy.
The broadcast was followed by a cocktail reception for the audience, hosts and panelists.
