Eugene Buckley Highlights Ways of Using SCF to Compete in a Dynamic Environment

Atlanta, GA, December 17, 2012 – Eugene Buckley, PrimeRevenue Inc. vice president and general manager Asia Pacific, will deliver a presentation on ways of integrating the physical and financial supply chains. Mr. Buckley’s presentation will be part of the 2013 Supply Chain and Logistics Summit Asia (SCL) held by Exporta on January 8-9th at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia, Singapore.

One of Exporta’s premier events, the SCL Summit will address the challenges and opportunities associated with Asia’s exponential business growth rate. Topics on the agenda include ways of optimizing vendor management and negotiations in Asia, achieving demand forecasting accuracy in increasingly unpredictable markets, and improving supply chain resilience. Mr. Buckley’s workshop will discuss ways the financial supply chain can keep up with the physical stream of goods by using flexible supply chain finance (SCF) solutions to increase access to working capital.

“Advancements in the supply chain and logistics arena over the past 20 years have been impressive and substantial,” said Eugene Buckley, PrimeRevenue Inc. vice president and general manager Asia Pacific. “The financial supply chain incorporating payments, access to working capital and flexible financing for supply chains to fund improvements and compete in a more dynamic environment has to date lagged behind developments for the physical supply chain. For Asian suppliers, waiting for payment for goods and services can lock up cash, so access to competitively priced working capital is increasingly a point of difference in highly optimized supply chains. The PrimeRevenue OpenSCi™ SCF solution allows access to on-demand liquidity via a multi-banking platform allowing significant cost and risk reductions for both buyers and suppliers,” added Buckley.
