Our goal is to be the rare exception where the most affordable option is also the best option.

Today MeetingBurner is rolling out powerful new features for their industry-disrupting online meeting and webinar platform – including a unique Facebook webinar promotion tool – as it celebrates some significant company milestones.

Since launching out of beta in February of 2012, MeetingBurner has seen its free user base double, while adding 10,000 paying subscribers – helping the company achieve profitability within its first calendar year.

Designed as a fast, contemporary alternative to GoToWebinar and WebEx, MeetingBurner’s robust platform allows users to hold web meetings for 1 to 1000 attendees at price points significantly lower than the competition – including the industry’s first Forever-Free, ad-free account for meetings with up to 10 people.

“Our goal is to be the rare exception where the most affordable option is also the best option. We’re excited that while our free user base continues to grow, our Pro and Premier account features are attracting a significant number of paid subscribers as well,” explains President John Rydell.

Rydell goes on to say, “Many of our customers use webinars and online meetings to build lists, brand loyalty, and sell products to their attendees. We believe a better meeting platform can have a dramatic difference in their success, and the new features we’re rolling out are a direct reflection of this.”

Summary of MeetingBurner’s Newest Features:

Facebook Promotion tool – Hosts can allow participants to register for meetings using Facebook Connect. For each participant who registers, meeting notifications are automatically posted to their Facebook timeline and friends’ news feeds, creating viral exposure and boosting registration.
Full Voice over IP (VOIP) – To complement our dedicated phone conference bridges and Skype integration, presenters may also host meetings via VOIP using a microphone and headset.
Aweber Integration – Hosts may now pass registrants’ information directly into email campaign lists for updates and follow-up via a synched Aweber account. MeetingBurner is also integrated directly into Constant Contact’s Eventspot service.
Registration Widget – Presenters can now post a webinar registration box on their website by copying and pasting a simple HTML snippet.
Operational and Stability Updates – System-wide enhancements have been implemented to improve performance.

MeetingBurner’s professional-grade platform is cloud-based, which enhances speed and reliability. The download-free interface lets participants join a meeting up to five times faster than existing solutions.

“Online meetings are successful when both parties – the attendees and the presenters – have a great experience,” said Rachel Homer, MeetingBurner’s lead programmer. “We’re always taking that into account in an effort to make web meetings better for everyone.”
