VAI Logic offers electronic design engineers the freedom to take on-demand continuing education Xilinx training courses online.

VAI logic announces today the expansion of its on-demand recorded e-learning, Xilinx FPGA training courses. As an exclusive authorized Xilinx training provider, VAI Logic continues to develop innovative methods of delivering semiconductor education. The new offerings were developed in collaboration with Hardent.

OEM’s face increased pressure to deliver their products while adhering to tight schedules. As such, electronic design engineers, HDL designers and system architects find it difficult to stay up to date with the latest cutting edge technology and allocate the time to attend training sessions. “VAI Logic began offering e-learning products in 2011, and we expect to see continued success with these new offerings,” said Mark Kosiarek, CEO of VAI Logic.

The new online electronics courses will offer students the ability to follow the courses online at the pace, schedule and setting of their choice. “The 24/7 availability of the new online Xilinx training courses will give our students the opportunity to carry out their training on their own terms without compromising the development deadlines they are committed to,” said Jason Fegley, training manager at Xilinx.

Pre-recorded, these training sessions will be offered by the same experienced instructors that VAI Logic uses for on-site training. The newly released products are “The Essentials of TCL Scripting” and “The Essentials of the 7 series FPGA’s.” VAI Logic expects to release additional recorded e-learning products in 2013.
