The weather may have cooled a bit, but Neal Communities’ home sales have stayed hot. Neal is on pace to have another chart-topping year. The Lakewood Ranch-based builder/developer sold another 56 new residences in November.
That brings the year-to-date sales total for the local, state, and national award-winning company to 559 — 156 more sales than in all of 2011. Figures from this November are a 21% increase from last November. This month was also Neal’s thirteenth straight month of meeting or exceeding internal sales goals.
Central Park, the family-friendly Lakewood Ranch community, continued to lead sales for Neal with another 18 homes sold in November. One of Neal’s newest communities, Grand Palm in Venice, also showed strong interest from buyers with seven sales for the month. Belleisle, a gated golf course community in Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch, continues to be popular also recording seven sales last month.
“We’re seeing a lot of pent-up demand from babyboomers who have delayed home purchases over the last few years,” said Pat Neal, President and CEO of Neal Communities. “Fortunately, we positioned ourselves ahead of the demand curve and have been able to provide homes across many product types and price ranges, Homebuyers find that appealing and reassuring and are realizing that the time to buy is now,” adds Neal.
The 56 purchases took place across more than a dozen Neal neighborhoods stretching from Parrish to Englewood. Other communities receiving notable buyer interest were Forest Creek in Parrish with five sales and Sarasota’s Woodbrook with four. New home buyers snapped up three homes at Fairfield, Neal’s newest development in Bradenton, a paired villa community west of I-75 off State Road 70.
John Neal Homes had four sales, three in neighborhoods within Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch and one at Highfield, the company’s pristine neighborhood within the Country Club at Lakewood Ranch.
