"This is our way of giving back to the community and promoting the teamwork of local businesses, non-profit organizations, and community volunteerism."
New Roads, LA (PRWEB) December 18, 2012
WorkSite Lighting LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), hosted Winley Ramp Build on December 15.
The event in New Roads, LA was designed to assist a Vietnam Era Veteran and his Spouse in their time of need as a gift of appreciation for their service to our country.
WorkSite Lighting LLC, The City of New Roads, American Press Inc, Kelly’s Specialty Meat Market, BIC Magazine, F7 Group, and The Mission Continues Alumna Valerie Brown teamed together to build a wheelchair ramp for Mrs. Winley who is fighting through her fourth bout of cancer.
“This event will be the first of many volunteer opportunities with WorkSite Lighting LLC. This is our way of giving back to the community and promoting the teamwork of local businesses, non-profit organizations, and community volunteerism,” said Bill Matthews, CEO of WorkSite Lighting LLC. “Our team is very excited for the opportunity to give back to veterans and their communities.”
