Rosetta Radiology is pleased to welcome radiologist Allison Gittens, MD to their team of expert, caring physicians. She will officially be a member of the Rosetta Radiology family beginning January 2, 2012 but she is already seeing patients at the Upper East Side radiology practice.

“While everyone was very professional at Rosetta, they showed great care towards me. Dr. Gittens, especially, is very sincere and I feel as if she really cared about my welfare. I appreciated the exam by Dr. Gittens. The special care was unexpected since doctors at most radiology facilities do not see patients,” said one patient.

Graduating from the University of Wisconsin with her bachelors of Arts degree in sociology, she attended Temple University School of Medicine and received her Doctorate of Medicine.
Dr. Gittens did her residency training at Cooper University Hospital for four years in the diagnostic radiology program as well as becoming a chief resident for her final year there. Afterwards, Dr. Gittens received her fellowship training at George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Gittens became board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2011 and has received numerous honors and distinctions for her hard work including being resident of the quarter at Cooper University Hospital.
