Metrics that Matter® is the market-leading LAS, or learning analytics system, combining a world-class evaluation system with powerful analytic tools to help organizations measure and improve their talent development programs. The primary focus of Metrics that Matter® is to provide the analytic toolset, including world-class reporting and valuable comparative benchmarks, to empower data-driven decision-making and improve the return on learning investments.
The new release dramatically improves the executive reporting capabilities of MTM, from new reports and dashboard enhancements to new tools for individual or group interviews and the addition of crucial new benchmark enhancements to add much-needed context to your data.
“The new release of Metrics that Matter® provides deeper insights into learning data and begins the development process towards expanding MTM’s analytics capabilities across the entire human capital spectrum,” said Kent Barnett, CEO and Founder of KnowledgeAdvisors.
Version 12.5 release highlights include:
Executive Reporting Enhancements
KnowledgeAdvisors continues to enhance and develop the capabilities of Metrics that Matter® to align with the crucial Talent Development Reporting (TDR) industry initiative. In the November Release, we’ll offer users the ability to create powerful reporting designed with TDR in mind directly from MTM, including an L&D Summary Report with key organizational outcomes and efficiency measures, highlighting learning’s impact on them.
Talent Development Interview Tool
Leading learning research points out that interviews from individuals or focus groups can be an integral part of having a well-rounded measurement capability. The new Talent Development Interview Tool allows MTM users to capture detailed feedback to supplement survey results. The tool will focus on capturing qualitative feedback during the conversation, then facilitates the process of ‘coding’ the feedback to pull out quotes or statement that can be tied to user-defined themes.
Our new dashboard enhancements offer you more flexibility in selecting how your data appears in dashboards, allowing you to tell a more concise and accurate story. To help you better present information, we have added several new display features to the widget edit properties, including the ability to customize scale axis in making data comparisons, color customizations, goal comparison options, and the ability to display notations directly into dashboard widgets.
Matrix Question Type
Take advantage of the new Matrix Question Type to organize and format a set of questions with the same answer options. This question format has been known to help increase response rates by decreasing the amount of time it takes to complete an evaluation. In our November release, the Matrix Question Type will display as a streamlined set of questions without the repetition of answer options for each question.
To further enhance your global analytics capabilities, a new 'Regional' benchmark will be added to help you evaluate substantial cultural differences within and across borders that drive differential ratings of courses. In addition, we will improve our existing 'Job Type' and 'Course Type' benchmark by increasing the volume of the data mapped to the benchmark standard options.
