Lead physician, Dr. Steven Kaufman commits Total Vein Care to educating the public about how they might be living needlessly with venous insufficiency in 2013.

At a time when so many questions about the future of health care remain unresolved, one practice, Total Vein Care, makes a year long commitment to health care education in the area of vein disease. Total Vein Care, led by Dr. Steven Kaufman, announced today a campaign to increase awareness of vein disease and the negative impact on the lives of patients of all ages.

What is amazing, according to Kaufman, is that "most health insurance plans cover treatment of the vein disease, called venous insufficiency, and still many don't come forward to get treatment."

When asked why such a deep focus on vein disease Kaufman responded,

"I chose to specialize in vein care because so many patients endure pain and an impaired lifestyle needlessly. I want patients to know just how quick and effective vein care is today and for them to get on with their lives without pain."

Venous insufficiency effects virtually one in two Americans, particularly those over age 50. Yet it is very treatable with little or no pain. Organizations of high priority for the seminar include industries where employees stand a lot, those serving the elderly, outdoor organizations and athletic clubs.

Steven Kaufman, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S. is Northern Colorado's most experienced vein care specialist and Northern Colorado’s only vein specialist that devotes his entire practice to the care and treatment of vein disorders.

Total Vein Care is located in Fort Collins at 1136 E Stuart Street, Suite 4102. In order to schedule a seminar for your organization call Practice Administrator, Paula Figgs at 970-498-8346.
