One of a caregiver's biggest concerns is finding reliable, unbiased information on the many aspects of family caregiving, from housing to legal and medical advice.

The CareGiver Partnership offers family caregivers the most extensive resource library of its kind, all in one place and free of charge, says Founder Lynn Wilson.

“Today’s caregiver may be juggling a career, family and personal interests, in addition to being responsible for an elderly loved one’s health, safety and well being. We’ve conducted focus groups in markets across the United States, and caregivers tell us they’re frantic, frazzled and frustrated,” says Wilson. “One of their biggest concerns is finding reliable, unbiased information on the many aspects of family caregiving, from housing to legal and medical advice.”

Since 2004, The CareGiver Partnership has been building the Caregiver Resource Library, the most extensive resource center of its kind, according to Wilson, with more than 1,400 helpful resources for family caregivers. The easily searchable library includes non-profit and for-profit organizations at the national, regional, and local levels, as well as a library of videos. With 44 segments from arthritis to women’s health, each resource has been independently reviewed to ensure it is of high quality and potentially useful to family caregivers, and each link is checked weekly to ensure it is up to date and active.

“One of the best and most unique features of our Caregiver Resource Library is we don’t accept advertising,” says Wilson. “This keeps it uncluttered, unbiased and solely a public service to family caregivers.” The CareGiver Partnership accepts new resources, which can be submitted for review.

In addition to the Caregiver Resource Library, The CareGiver Partnership staff also has written more than 1,000 articles on issues important to family caregivers, such as preventing falls at home, safety tips for caregivers of those with dementia, and tax deductibility of incontinence products. These and many more topics are available on The CareGiver Partnership blog.

The CareGiver Partnership is a national direct-to-consumer retailer of home healthcare products for incontinence, diabetes, nutrition support and more. In its sixth year of providing products and services that help caregivers and loved ones maintain personal dignity, the company also offers an online library of more than 1,200 family caregiver resources and personal service by experts in caregiving.
