Pace Payment Systems has partnered with Swiff, the global innovator of secure mobile commerce solutions, to launch its first private label payment gateway in the United States. SCCP Group, parent company of Swiff, tailored the solution which included their patented security and authentication technology.

“The gateway is a big step forward for Pace Payment Systems as we strive to provide value-added solutions for our merchants and technology partners that expand beyond the commoditized transaction service. We partnered with Swiff in 2012 and the technology adoption and deployment has been seamless,” said Nolan Pittman, Director of Market Development for Pace Payment Systems.

Utilizing Swiff’s secure gateway platform technology, Pace merchant customers will be able to strategically manage and grow their businesses with the highly-secured e-commerce and mobile payment solutions. Additionally, merchants will benefit from the ability to develop vertically-oriented payment solutions that address specific needs within Pace’s target verticals. Pace will unveil a custom-branded mobile payment app in January 2013 that will extend that ability to process electronic payments through a smartphone or tablet.

Pace will focus on enhancing and growing its base of developer relationships. With a simple API and other tools designed to drive integration, Pace now has the ability to add payment capability to a variety of software applications.

“Our aggressive growth is driven by market demand – I am delighted by this milestone deal with Pace Payments who are trailblazers in their field. It is a winning partnership and I am excited by the collaboration and what it means for the mobile payment industry here in the US,” said Jerome Cle, CEO of SCCP Group.

“Worldwide Swiff’s end-to-end solution is unparalleled and our established track record working with financial institutions, acquirers, merchants and across the entire spectrum of the mobile payment ecosystem is a testament to that,” added Cle.

"Building on the momentum that Swiff is enjoying in the Asia-Pacific region and Central Europe, the company recently added to its San Francisco office to support business development across the United States and in Latin America and the Caribbean.
