We were able to use our online resources, experience and expertise to make their dream a reality

"For King and Country: 150 Years of The Royal Westminster Regiment" was officially launched last week at a private VIP reception. The book, honoring the Regiment’s 150th anniversary, was published by Vivalogue Publishing which also coordinated the associated fundraising campaign. Vivalogue used an initial contribution of $1,500 to develop both an online and traditional marketing campaign which successfully raised $40,000. Vivalogue also designed and published the 328 page, hardcover book. “The hard work and dedication of the whole Vivalogue team was critical to our success,” said Honorary Colonel Karen Baker-MacGrotty. “They helped us create a beautiful and important book which will be treasured by all supporters and members of the Regimental family.”

“Like many non-profit organizations, the Regiment had a great story to tell and lots of passion for telling it,” said Vivalogue director Lynn Duncan. “They just needed expertise to fund and to coordinate it. We were able to use our online resources, experience and expertise to make their dream a reality.” Vivalogue specializes in fundraising publishing projects. The company has also published a neighbourhood history to combat homelessness, a Mother’s Day anthology for international development and a women’s history in support of a transition house for victims of domestic violence. These projects continue to raise thousands of dollars for their sponsoring organizations. “The possibilities are endless,” said Duncan. “Books lend themselves to collaboration, have mass market appeal and raise awareness in addition to funds. We are committed to continuing our work in the non-profit sector.”

In addition to fundraising projects, Vivalogue offers editorial, design and publication services to individuals, organizations and authors interested in creating books in quantities from 1 to 1,000.
