People drive down busy city streets every day, but their favorite brands and locations tend to stick out against the rest of the landscape due to cleverly designed logos and brightly lit signs. A lot more goes into hanging business signs than most people will ever realize. There are permits that must be applied for and received. The outdoor signs have to be stable in storms and safe for people to walk and drive around and under. Even a slight angle change in the direction of the signage can make a big difference when it comes to visibility and impact.
Recently, area sign company, Burr Signs, was awarded two large re-branding contracts. One of them was for Applebee’s. The other was for Citgo. These were big contracts for a local company to have landed and it is beneficial whenever a local company can bring in this kind of work. It helps the economy and boosts the spirits the local workforce. As part of the contract for Applebee’s, Burr Signs was responsible for replacing outside and inside signage in 14 restaurants across Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. They also replaced signage for 15 Citgo locations in those three states as part of the agreement with them.
These new signs provide an updated look for favorite neighborhood brands. While the logos are still familiar, there have been slight modifications, although nothing overly drastic. Residents will still easily recognize both their Applebee’s and Citgo locations by the signage, but they will have an updated feel which can be more appealing to the masses and can even help to spur business as people driving or walking by may wonder what else has changed.
Properly designed and installed signs can make a huge difference for a business. It has been proven time and again that the amount of foot traffic and enhanced brand equity brought about by commercial signs can be extremely beneficial for all sorts of business. For businesses that have signs that are not working properly, have faded over time, or been damaged by storms, it is important to seek out a qualified sign repair specialist who can maintain the appearance of the company and brand. Burr Signs provides sign services for local and national business throughout New England.
