Today, TicketLeap offers integration with Passbook on iOS 6— continuing the company’s innovative streak in rethinking the live entertainment experience. Passbook is a built-in app enabling users to store and access all their event tickets, boarding passes, retail coupons, loyalty cards, and more.
“When Apple introduced Passbook with iOS 6, we were pumped. We knew that the app was going to change how people organized their daily life,” said Keith Fitzgerald, CTO of TicketLeap. “After taking the time to carefully test what works with the app and what doesn’t, we’re pleased to tell you that all events on the TicketLeap platform are live and ready to make their way into your Passbook.”
Event-goers are able to add tickets to their Passbook by simply clicking the “Download” or “Send” button embedded into their ticket purchase confirmation email or from their ticket purchase confirmation page. Additionally, buyers now have the option to edit the name or email address on their tickets whether they use Passbook or not.
