Professor of sociology Jaslin U. Salmon, Ph.D. came to the conclusion that children are frequently misunderstood by parents who seem to operate on the mistaken assumption that the way parents see things is the way their children should see them. To help parents and children better understand one another, Salmon pens his new book “Parenting: A Child's Perspective” (published by Trafford Publishing).

“Parenting: A Child's Perspective” is a culminating narrative of snapshots from the lives of hundreds of parents and children. Written from a child’s point-of-view, “Parenting: A Child's Perspective uniquely captures the first five years of the child's life, and dissects it in a way that provides new insights to parents at every stage of the parenting process.

It is a must-read for parents and prospective parents, and is sure to empower those who are experiencing parenthood.
